can anyone tell me about this atlas of the world?

I actually found this and is in mint condition. haven't seen one like it before,is really good quality! It says The Royal Geographical Society 1830 on the front. I cannot find the year of publication, but i read it was copyrighted in 1983 so do they normally do this in the same year of publication? thanks for any info
