Can anyone suggest what the music is?

Sounds like a solo piano piece, quite moody. It's used a lot in TV dramas, trailers and documentaries.

Any suggestions please?

Obviously there are thousands to choose from, but I looked for a piece for nearly 20 years and found it only a couple of years back.
The "moody" bit is the clue.
