Can anyone suggest something close to these authors?

Okay, I know there's some sort of site that brings these up, but I hate that sort of thing because of failures in the past. I like this authors not JUST because of their genres, because of their writing styles.

Katie MacAlister - Douglas-Adams-like humour and PATRICIA CABOT romance, I LOVE THAT. Are there any other really funny and romantic authors like that?

Michele Jaffe - I've only read the Water Nymph, I like that really good detective part in the novel and also the romance.

I already LOVE MEG CABOT, and please don't suggest any of the authors up here ^^ I know you people do that, it's seriously annoying.

If you want someone like Katie: I'd recommend Nina Bangs or Lynsay Sands. Both women have a very off beat sense of humor in their paranormals.

You might also try Maryjanice Davidson.

One of my favorite romance writers who has just a touch of mystery in her books is Janet Chapman.
