Can anyone recommend (or advise against) either the Samsung S5560 or the Sony...

...Ericsson Elm? Am looking to get a new mobile. Have seen good deals on the above two and was hoping someone could suggest which might be the better one. Thanks for any help xx
 
I have been a Sony Ericsson fan since the T28 days when bluetooth was introduced. So I am a bit biased. My wife has had Samsungs in the past and I have to say they are pretty durable phones. As for the SE phones, they are a bit more "delicate" in a sense that they are less bulky, more opportune to sit on because of the small form factor. But the features on SE's are in my opinion the best on the market aside from Android. The SE's UI (user interface) is really easy to go through by just playing through the menus. Heck even my 18 month took a picture of her foot using the SE phone! As for the Samsung, I have not personally had one since I was with Sprint back in 2000. But as said before, they are very durable phones and both have their pros and cons. Your best bet is to go somewhere and "play" with the features of the phone and see which you like better.
 
Hi for years i have had nothing but sony ericssons i loved the sonys because theres so many sites about for downloading new themes games etc but what put me off the samsungs was because there later phones from the k850i upwards suffered with issues i personally know this as ive had 2 k850i & both failed on software issues my 2nd 1 failed on the touch screen bit but when they were up & running properly they were good phones to have so ive changed over to samsung now i had a b3410 which my daughter had off me when her sony broke & i now have a samsung monte touch screen phone & its a great phone with wi-fi ! if your in doubt go to this website & it will give you all the infos on both phones & also it gives you peoples reveiws & opinions on the phone aswell the site is :
