For the past week I have been having cramping in my legs and menstrual type cramps. The difference between these menstrual type cramps is they are more burning type cramps. Yes, I have been on my menstrual cycle, but. I started having the menstrual type cramps 2 days before my period, which i usually only get them the day before and then on my first day. These cramps do not go away and is almost constant.
My leg cramps are coming on at night like they usually do, but these ones are different, they make me jump out of bed because they come on so sudden and pull really hard in an instant where usually they come on gradually and sometimes I can move my legs and get rid of the cramps. I woke up early this morning and yesterday morning because of this. I am so tired right now and want to go back to bed, I am so exhausted. My calves are hurting so bad right now, the cramps are gone but the muscle is so very sore.
I take Potassium every day, because I don't get enough of it during the day when I eat. So I usually take 500 mg's. I have been taking Potassium for years and have never not taken it.
Could there be an underlying issue? Like I said the cramping is in the menstrual area, but I don't know if they are reallly menstrual cramps.
Please can someone help me before I go insane over here?
Thanks
