I am in search of a book that is quite old, at least 25 years and I don't have the name or author as I was very young when I came across it and it was not something I was supposed to be reading. The gist of the storyline is about a traveling group of people that perform in a sex show. The two main characters are a young woman and man that are also the shows main attraction. The young man is very handsome and attracts older women. The two only refer to each other as he and she throughout the book and they alternate in each chapter telling their side of the story. Both are supposed to be the best at what they do and at some point they end up getting together. After that, they fall in love and realize they can no longer perform with others and that they are only good with each other. She becomes pregnant and they devise a plan to run away so that they can leave the show and be together.
Can anyone help with the title, and or author of the book I have described?
