Can anyone help with a little trouble i'm having with my car?

I own a Skoda Octavia Ambiente 1.9 TDI car manufactured in 2002. Yesterday I heard 3 shrill beeps coming from the dash as I was driving. When I got home, I checked the manual to see what the warning sound was, and it said 3 beeps indicate a low oil level warning. But I didn't see the low oil level light on the dash. I checked the oil with the dipstick and it was up to the level, but the viscosity of the oil seemed low. I had the oil changed in the car 3000 miles ago. Should I just consider the beeps a glitch of some kind, or do i need to take further action?
 
sounds like it needs a oil and filter change? you changed it 3000 miles ago. you allready answerd most of your own question. the oil has now broken down. i allways change my oil every 3000 miles. and rotate my tires every other oil change as well.
 
i would take further action,ur suppose to change the oil at every 3000 miles.so it was probaly a warning that it was getting low and needs to be changed.even tho the dipstick says it was full.but did u check it while it was hot or cold?if u checked it hot then u aint going to get the right reading.check when cold,gives u the right reading.hope this helps
