can anyone help me with this army test question?

this is from a practice barb test (paper test you need to tke for the british army, i think usa one is called asvab) anyway most of the questions seemed straight forward enough, here are some examples:

Kale is quicker than Gore
Who is slower?
A= Kale or B = Gore

Mane is heavier than Rame
Who is heavier?
A= Rame or B = Mane

then i came across this one:

Mina is not as intelligent as Rina
Who is duller?
A= Mina or B = Rina

i dont understand that one, what does intelligance have to do with dullness? Or is dullness the opposite of intelligance?

Duller means less intelligent, so the answer would be Mina (A).
