I have an outdoor receptacle that went dead on me recently it used to work fine before and I cannot understand why it lost power suddenly. I opened the box and the connections seem to be fine but there was no power when I checked the black wire directly. There is one circuit breaker which operates several other receptacles and they seem to be working properly. However I must say that the circuit breaker is a little loose.. but that does not explain why the other receptacles are working fine and only the outdoor receptacle not getting the power.
Any help identifying the problem is much appreciated before I get a pro to do it.
