It was about "monsters in your closet". The main character (a girl with short hair) is contacted by an old friend who had the same night terrors she did as a child. He tells her that the monsters that they saw in their dreams as kids were real, and that they put something in them to mark them. The friend disappears, and the main character starts to get suspicious. She ends up finding a slim piece of metal in her head. Anyway the ending of the movie is where she end up in an asylum. She hears a sound a goes up to her door and the monsters face smashes through the window. The doctors and her boyfriend rush in to see whats wrong. the last few shots are through her looking out of the nightmare world in the closet (with the other characters looking into the closet, but seeing nothing) as the monsters start to wake up around her. I have no idea how accurate this is to the actual plot of the story, but this is all could remember. it's killing me that I can't remember who played in it, or what the title was.....
