Can anyone help me identify this programme?

I was about four or five, I think, so we'd be talking early 80s.

It was about a very tiny couple (as in centimetres high) who end up in someone's house. The scenes I remember involve avoiding a woman shoving stuff down a waste disposal, something silvery (a spaceship?) in a vegetable patch, and an encounter with a spider which I believe may be responsible for my arachnophobia...

Does this sound familiar to anyone or have I been overdoing the tablets again?

The only other shows I can think of are Incredible Games (but was 90s) and The Littles (80s but cartoon).

Are you sure it wasn't a film? The Incredible Shrinking Woman sounds a lot like what you are descibing.

I also remeber a programme from my childhood called "Return of the Antelope" and that featured tiny people.

Sorry for resurrecting this but I've been very ill and only just seen the last post!

I think you might well be right about Galactic Garden - I've mixed two things up by the looks of things. Unfortunately that means there must have been two things that scared the life out of me as a kid!!
