Can anyone help me find a good book?

I am 12 and very picky about the books I read. I like action ones, but not too gory (like Stephen king (unless you know a good one that isn't gross). I like kill or be killed types of books, and i get bored of them easily if they don't start off with action. I am currently reading unwind by Neal Shusterman and loving it. I have read twilight (it was goodish). I have also read hunger games and am going to read catching fire as soon as I can get my hands on it. Any reccomendations for books to read after that? (please!)
by the way i like supernaturally ones as long as they dont sound too unrealistic (like contest)
 
Well Beckz, I'm not really into the "whodunnit" books myself, but I do read almost anything I can get my hands on, so I CAN recommend some great reads....

The Looking Glass Wars (series by Frank Beddor) is a spin on the Alice In Wonderland, but with lots of action and the like.

The Lovely Bones (Alice Sebold) about a girl who is murdered and tries to help them solve her murder as a ghost.

A Child Called It (Dave Pelzer series) his autobiographical account of the abuse he suffered as a child, and how he got out.

The Golden Compass (three books by Philip Pullman) you've probably seen the movie, but the books are amazing and filled with adventure.

Septimus Heap Series (Angie Sage) these books are for fans of Harry Potter because they have adventure and action, but also magic.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Douglas Adams) the guy was an amazing author. I'm sure you've heard of the movie, but his humor in the six book series is just unbeatable.

Anything by Agatha Christie should be great for you, she is arguably one of the best in that genre. Happy reading!
 
if you want the teeny kind of action then try eion colfer's artemis fowl or the cirque du freak series(since you mentioned twilight)...
or if you want the more adult and brutal kind then try sheldon's doomsday conspiracy,coben's tell no one, and some of koonts and john grisham. (thought most of them have a bit of adult contents,...>^_^<)

I can point you towards a couple of good series of books for your age and interest level. Check out "The Stainless Steel Rat" series by Harry Harrison and/or "The Chronicles of Amber" series by Roger Zelazny. Each are very good, very easy reads (meaning easy to get into) There are lots of books in each of these series, but they're all very small books. So you don't have to read a lot at once. And they're both lots of fun.

I think Judy Blume is for much younger readers. If I remember correctly, I read her books when I was 9 or 10.
 
I can point you towards a couple of good series of books for your age and interest level. Check out "The Stainless Steel Rat" series by Harry Harrison and/or "The Chronicles of Amber" series by Roger Zelazny. Each are very good, very easy reads (meaning easy to get into) There are lots of books in each of these series, but they're all very small books. So you don't have to read a lot at once. And they're both lots of fun.
