I have been fishing for years now and I would say I am a very good angler. I have only two week points. Night fishing and fishing while it's raining. I dont know what Im doing wrong but I can never seem to catch fish after the sun goes down. I try for hours but the minute it gets dark my luck runs dry. I fish on fresh water inland lakes in michigan more specifically houghton lake, and the fish I go after are Bass Walleye and Pike. I hear Walleye and bass hit at night time so I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips one good baits to use. Also I have caught fish one rainy days but not many. A strategy for that would be helpful as well. Im going up there this weekend and the weather is going to be partly cloudy and mostly in the 70's. I would like someone to maybe tell me what depth to fish at and what areas to look for at night. I read forums and stuff like that and they only tell you to make sure your prepared at night with gas and lights and tackle, they dont say what to use etc. Please help!
