Can anyone give me any information about the Inns of Court?

I am trying to decide which one to join and although I have looked at all of their websites and also read everything I can find on the internet, I am wondering if there is anything you can tell me that is interesting, unique, not widely known, unusual etc about any or all of the four Inns of Court.
