can anyone explain this joke to me?

okay its been about a year since i've heard this joke, and everyone i tell it to refuses to explain it to me. here it is.

"so two frogs are sitting on a toilet and one says to the other, 'hey can you pass me the soap?' the other one reply's 'what do i look like your typewriter?' "
 
I think they are winding you up and there you are trying so hard to find it out when infact there was no joke and they are making fun of you.
