...commercial vehicles)? the other day i got a parking ticket on my freightliner and on the ticket it said it was for a truck route violation. but i was parked. so i dont understan how i got truck route violation if i was parked
 
California restricts vehicles in excess of 13,000 pounds to roadways within 1 mile from national highway networks, and then only for food, fuel, lodging, and repairs.

They allow only signed truck route access to terminals.

So, if you were parked more then 1 mile from a national highway (interstate, US route, state route), you were in violation.
