The word 'politics' is derived from the word 'poly', meaning 'many', and the word 'ticks', meaning 'blood sucking parasites'

Obama's favorite bar?

The Allahu Ak Bar.

Top of my head. You're welcome/I'm sorry.

Read the Recovery and Reinvestment Bill. That's the biggest political joke in the world.

Jerry Falwell was seated next to President Clinton on a recent flight. After the plane was airborne, the flight attendant came around for drink orders.
The President asked for a whiskey & soda, which was brought and placed before him.

The attendant then asked the minister if he would also like a drink.

The minister replied in disgust, "Ma'am, I'd rather be savagely raped by a brazen whore, than let liquor touch these lips!"

The President then handed his drink back to the attendant and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't know there was a choice."

This seems perfect for YA and the intellect we sometimes find ourselves confronted with:

What makes 'natural born' better?

A College student challenges the 'constitutional requirement'

In a Seattle, Wash., college classroom, students were discussing the qualifications to be President of the United States. It was pretty simple - the candidate must be a natural born citizen of at least 35 years of age.

However, one girl in the class immediately started in on how unfair the requirement was to be a natural born citizen.

In short, her opinion was that this requirement prevented many capable individuals from becoming president.

The class was taking it in and letting her rant, but everyone's jaw hit the floor when she wrapped up her argument by stating, "What makes a natural born citizen any more qualified to lead this country than one born by C Section?"

Yea, one word, starts with an O and has a dictators middle name! Oh, wait! That's a riddle! But the answer is a joke!
