Can anybody explain to me exactly how it is that using a cellphone by a gas

pump would cause a fire/explosion? Im looking for a serious answer, i can think of all the smart ass answers myself. Are these morons really suggesting that the minuscule amount of radiation given off by a cell phone is going to somehow magically ignite the gasoline? If so, what about the radiation given by the electronic gas pump and credit card reader?
