Can anybody explain this eerie experience?

I was sitting in my room, playing video games.
when I heard a sound
it was a young man chuckling for a few moments
it was very clear and distinct
and sounded to be coming from my bed

does anyone have an explanation for this?
 
Beats me, I was not there.


Sound from the game.

Something under your bed falling over.

The TV downstairs.

Someone outside.

Birds outside your window.

Also remember that your brain is very good at pattern recognition. In fact it is so good that it will often see patterns that are not there. So random shapes become a face, or a horse, etc. and random noises can become words. See the whole back tracking fiascoes for that.
