experience than B.O.? I claim that EVERY SINGLE current and former U.S. president either had a military or government executive leadership position BEFORE he was elected President.

In some sense, wouldn't that make a President Obama THE least qualified president in history?

To poster "krisskristel": Hello? The current president was Governor of Texas.
To poster "Gen. Stiggo": Lincoln had military experience. Check the link.
To poster "Adam B": Check the link. All those presidents had either military experience OR major government executive position BEFORE becoming President.
To poster "Adam B":
John Adams - served in Revolutionary War
Thomas Jefferson - Secretary of State for G. Washington
John Quincy Adams - Secretary of State for Monroe
Martin Van Buren - Secretary of State for Jackson
Grover Cleveland - Governor of NY
William Taft - Secretary of War for Roosevelt
Woodrow Wilson - Governor of NJ
Warren Harding - Lt. Governor of Ohio
Calvin Coolidge - Governor of MA
Herbert Hoover - Secretary of Commerce for Harding and Coolidge
Franklin Roosevelt - Governor of NY
Bill Clinton - Governor of Arkansas

Its short for Obamabot....K were tired of typing it out....And yes he is the LEAST QUALIFIED PERSON RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT!!!! EVER!!

Actually, I don't think so. I've extensively studied all the Presidents, and I believe all of them have had military or executive leadership experience. Even Harding.

Easy. None of the following presidents served in the military:
John Adams
Thomas Jefferson
John Quincy Adams
Martin Van Buren
Grover Cleveland
William Taft
Woodrow Wilson
Warren Harding
Calvin Coolidge
Herbert Hoover
Franklin Roosevelt
Bill Clinton

Ah, I'm sorry, I didn't notice that you couldn't get to the end of your own sentence before changing your parameters.

My answer is: it doesn't matter. Lincoln, by the way, never really saw active service. Hoover was only Sec. of Commerce, but I wouldn't want to hang my hat on THAT legacy, eh? Wilson was governor of NJ, but only for two years. John Adams was VP before he was elected, and the VP doesn't really have any power at all, so I'd say he counts.

Taft was the governor of the Philippines for two years, does that count as executive experience? Being a colonial viceroy? Martin Van Buren was governor of NY for about 2 months. I don't think that really counts either. Coolidge also was a governor of MA, but only served for about 18 months. Warren Harding was elected president straight out of the US Senate, and he'd only been a lieutenant governor before that. I think Harding probably counts as a legit answer to your question.

Anyhoo, if you want people to help you do your research for you, I suggest you take a less combative tone. It's kind of offensive.

Presidents with NO MILITARY EXPERIENCE and did not serve as a president in war time.
John Adams
John Quincy Adams
Grover Cleveland
William Taft
Woodrow Wilson
Warren Harding
Calvin Coolidge
Franklin Roosevelt
Bill Clinton
Seeing as we are at war, Obama, if elected, would have more experience than these guys on his first day.

I'm STILL voting for McCain.

easy, BUSH

Lets not forget that Bush senior made sure non of his baby boys had to go to the military where they may die for that country they are desperate to serve!
