The mother of my children got an emergency restraining order against me soon after she and I separated after 7 years of living and raising our kids together here in VA. She did this to obtain custody and control of our kids. I was served at work, and told I had to show up to court 2 weeks later. During this time I was told that I could not have any contact with her or my kids, and that I'd have to pay child support to the courts until the hearing. The court date was set to see whether the restraining order would be extended, to see who would get custody, and to see about child support.

At the hearing, she was appointed a victim assassinates lawyer by the courts free of charge, while I was without a lawyer or a clue. She claim, and this was the first I heard about it, she filed for the restraining order because I called her on the phone and threatened to "f*ck her and her befriend up"... At the end of it all, she had full custody and the retaining order was extended for 2 years after I was ask to leave because I interrupted her while she was giving her statement.

A few weeks later we had a telephone conversation that I recorded, and were she admits to lying in court and to get the restraining order. How can I get a judge to listen to this recording? She's an actress, a lair, and uses stereo types and programs set up to help women to aid in getting her way. This is my only proof that I have that she's a lair. I can not afford thousands of dollars for a lawyer either. I need information on how to do this myself.
I seen cases where police officers used voice recording software as evidence in traffic stop incidences. I've also seen civil cases where one side secretly recorded a conversation, and it was played in court. There has to be some guidelines that allows me to play the tape in court.
