For christmas (I know it's late but we haven't exchanged gifts yet cuz we've been out of town), I'm thinking of buying my boyfriend a head unit for his car that includes an MP3 player jack, because he doesn't have one right now. The thing is, he uses his LG Dare as his MP3 player so I want to make sure that it would work on the head unit. I know they are mostly made for iPods but are they all the same input jack? Thank you!
I may have to ask another question about this but when car CD players say they have CD/MP3 player, does that mean they just have a headphone input for you to hookup your MP3 player? Is there something higher quality than that that doesn't JUST work for an iPod.
He also has an iRiver so if that would work with it, that's good. I just don't want to buy him something that only works with iPod, which he doesn't have.
