will the Army allow an infantry man to carry another rifle he picked up off a dead enemy along with his standard issue rifle? also, i have a friend whose grandfather kept his M1 rifle from WW2 and i have heard stories of veterans of Vietnam keeping their M14's even after they have been honorably discharged, so would that mean an infantry man whose service time is up can keep his rifle? or any weapon he takes as a souvenir?
