Can an American (NTSC) PS2 work with a PAL LG 50PQ3000?

I might soon be buying an American playstation 2, and I'm wondering if it'll work with my PAL TV (above), if someone could assist me it would be greatly appreciated. Also is there a way to test if a PAL TV can work with an American PS2, because I'm also trying to see if the PS2 can work work with my other TV (an old Alba, with built in video player, I don't have the model number). Thanks in Advance
