I developed acid reflux from taking the osteoporsosis drug Actonel, and lately it seems to be progressing, as I'm able to eat less and hardly enjoy my food. I take Omeprazole, and have tried Zantac which seems to help some, but neither one does anything for my digestion. Also, yesterday I had a low grade fever all day, and my stomach was acting up somewhat. I acknowledge it might be a lupus flare, and it lasted until night time, never reaching 100, but I just wonder if the reflux might have caused an inflammation. I guess a stomach infection might cause it, too. All I know is that the GERD has troubled me a lot more than the lupus, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis I have.
