...bike needs to be rejeted? Can the carbs also needing cleaning affect the sound of the bike? The bike runs rich. Thanks!
 
Myself love the sound of some exhaust and would go on sound alone.
Anyway if this helps or not ,i had a Micron exhaust on my Yamaha many many moons ago.And i noticed the sound started to sound wrong,my Dad stripped the silencer out of the end of the exhaust which lifted out and wrapped fibreglass roll around it and replaced it,wow it sounded brill more meaty and a better sound.
Other than that it may need a good service.
