can a wildlife biologist do the same things a zoologist can?

i mean im majoring in wildlife biology and animal science because i was told their are no longer majors called "zoology" in texas they said our version is wildlife biology is this true?

will i still be able to do field research? or work in a zoo?

any thing else i can do with this major would be great to know list everything even if its available for both so i can be 100% sure
