K Katelyn L Guest Feb 22, 2009 #3 take it out both of them will die the amonya is to high for the betta and he will die and when you se the betta(fighting fish) puff up that means he is ready to fight.and get a thormomater bettas can go 75 -85 degrees and the other can go 65--75
