Can a STD test detect other things that are not herpes, gonnarhea etc.?

Balanits is pretty obvious from looking at it so that should be able to be tested by a culture swab if not just by sight. Other tests are used for other STD's and you can ask for a full array of tests to rule out other STD's when you go.

Planned parent hood centers have STD experts their and they are normally very professional and helpful

I think I may be getting a male yeast infection, or balanits but I'm not sure if its that.
If i go to do a STD test at planned parenthood, would they be able to detect if its any of those if its not herpes or somthing else serious?
