I am interested in buying a Sonuus G2M converter that will convert my electric guitar audio signal into a MIDI signal. I want to be able to convert this MIDI signal into another type of audio signal (say a piano sound for example) live. I know that you can plug the MIDI cable into a computer using a USB port and then use software to convert it to a actual sound, but my computer is to slow for that. I was wondering if I could use a MIDI supported keyboard to instantly convert the signal. In other words if I plugged my guitar into the G2M, the G2M into a MIDI keyboard, and the keyboard into an amp, could I convert the guitar sound to sound like any of the virtual instruments programed onto the piano? (Keep in mind if I got a piano to convert the signal, I would want it to be real cheap; like around $200.00 or so) I anyone could help, that would be great!
