denying all things years after say? can a man who was questioned in the presence of his attorney by the cops about his involvement in a crime, now years after become a witness and says he was a part of the crime? should he be considered an incompetent witness? if no, can you refer me a case law dealing with same please? he was arrested but was freed after the aforesaid question and answer session because he adamantly denied any involvement. furthermore, he went on an identification parade and was not pointed out by other people who said they witnessed the crime.
 
he wouldn't be a trust worthy witness.for the DA or police to even listen to this man he would have to be able to give details about the crime, details that might come around and bite him on the butt so to speak.that's if the statutes of limitation haven't expired on the crime.if they have expired they aren't going to waste 2 minutes on this guy
