Can a fish tank be placed by a window?

I want to rearrange my room and i want my fish by the window, but can they be harmed there with the weather changing all the time?

yes they would be harmed. sudden temperature changes could shock the fish, and the sunlight has the perfect light spectrum for growing nuisance algae

yes that would be a big problem the main one would be ever temperature changes or algae bloom take your pick both can kill over time if left unchecked.

probaly not becausefish tanks are like 1 inch thick and windows arent really a good thing to put on a fish tank if its broken

yes it can..but the costant light will make the alge grow really fast
