hi i live in southern california (lake elsinore, temmecula, riverside) is it ok to let a dog live outdoors. it will have shelter and get attention, sleep in garage and in bad weather be in the garage

Sure, if it has the equipment for an outdoor dog..fur length, etc. Southern Cal should be a good place for it. Just make sure it is contained in a secure area, is potty trained, crate trained, and acclimated to people, and gets plenty of attention.
