I dislocated my knee about 5-6 weeks ago, and still won't write me a note to let me start swimming, even thought my physical therapist and all the other doctors I've been to has said it's ok to swim. He is the "specialist" and the first one to check me out, so the other doctors say they can't write me the note.
So I was wondering, could my doctor really keep me from swimming, even if there is nothing wrong, but he thinks there is?
Is there anything I could do to change his mind. (Like give me a MRI, or change doctors.)
He is a Physician's Assistant, so I don't know if that means I can have his supervising Physician check out my knee. I just really want to swim.
Thanks
