Can a dealer register a car to ANY state?? HELP!?

I'm picking up a used car from a different state, instead of dealing with going to the DMV etc when I get back home, can the dealer there register it to my home state??

(ala do what they normally do with registration/titles in which you get the plates some weeks later, only difference is I'm not from their state)
 
Going to the DMV is not that big of hassel. They cant forge legal documents for you, so no. Letting someone else do something for you, like a used car dealer, can get done improperly, and your the loser if they do.
