I've got a Samsung plasma tv that is approx 6 months old. A lot of my programs are in the 4:3 ratio as opposed to the 16:9 ratio. The tv puts gray sidebars on to make the 4:3 ratio. The other day while viewing in the 16:9 ratio I noticed the sidebars have "burnt in" to the screen now. Is there any way to remove this? The manual states that the "scrolling" mode will take this out, but I've run this program for several hours with no noticeable results. Is there anything else that can be done to fix this problem or is it permanently on the screen?
