Can a bunny be kept indoors and outdoors too? Or should it be one or the other?

It would be fine, just be aware of the dangers. Many rabbits who are kept outdoors die within a year or two due to severe weather, stress and heart attacks. If it is raining, below 40 degrees or above 80 degrees, you should bring the rabbit inside. They can get colds and respiratory infections, as well as heat stroke, very easily, which can cause death. Also if it is in an area where another animal (wild, or domestic such as a dog or cat) might try and get to it (even if the hutch is secure and it could not actually get the rabbit), your bunny could still die of stress or a heart attack.

Rabbits love to be outside if the weather is nice. Mine get daily play time outside in the grass. you might want to think about getting a small playpen that you can play with them outside in.

Well,Indoor rabbits tend to live longer than outdoor rabbits.Indoor rabbits can live a total of 10yrs or even more!Outdoor rabbits tend to live a total of 6 to 8yrs.No i really don't think that will confuse her but i would keep in one environment if i were you.I think it would be a hassle to bring her in and out and what if you forget or cannot bring her in?Rabbits are social animals and prefer to have human or rabbit company. So,keeping her indoors is better. Remeber to adopt if u get another bunny and to always spay and neuter.

We have a bunny she is about 10 weeks old and she has been kept indoors. We bought an outdoor hutch to put her in during the day and bring her in at night. Would that be confusing to her? Should we keep her in just one of the two enviroments?
