Can 2 or 3 different species of fish co-mingle in the same tank?

Well, a 2 gallon tank, to be specific. 2 gallon tank, no filter/shenanigans like that. Just gravel and a plant or two.

Can fish of different types get on together, or will they just eat each other?
For instance, like, say a gorami + a goldfish.
or 2 betas + a black molly.
or...a tetra + a beta + a goldfish.
(Just examples, don't worry, I know none of those get along...)
If so, which specieses...speci...speciesez...Which kinds would get along?
(Keep in mind the two gallon-ness of the tank)
Oh my gosh. I can't believe that. How am I so wrong!?
Thank you, people. =)

If anyone sees this, then what kind of fish CAN live in a 2-gal tank?

In a 2 gallon tank? No. There isn't enough space. There's barely even enough space for 2 fish, unless they're tetras or another type of really small fish. But those usually like to live in schools. (Groups of the same species.)

If you had a bigger tank, you could mix species. But they have to both be able to live in the same water conditions. For example, a goldfish and a betta shouldn't be living in the same tank, because a goldfish is coldwater and a betta is tropical.
