I am taking my wife camping in the Rockies up in Northern Utah where we live. I haven't been camping for 6 years or so but went almost twice a month for one year with my father.
I want to bring as little items as needed and try to not bring things that we can survive without. Things like a propane stove or electronics are what I want to exclude. We will be inside a campground that allows small fires but I am going to try and get us as secluded as possible without being too far from help incase we need it.
It will be an overnight stay of about 20-24 hours unless she takes Friday off work in which it will be a two night stay. Anyone have ideas on needed things besides first aid, tent, sleeping bags, and canned foods?
