Camping with a 7 month old? Tips and Advice Please...?

Has anyone ever had experience camping with a baby under 1, does anyone have any advice or tips about what to bring or things that really helped them make this a fun experience for the child and the parents. It will be 3 nights. My child is only 5 months now, so i dont even know what a 7 month old is going to be like. Any tips or advice will be appreciated.

Weather- it should be around 75 for a high and 60 for a low.
 
Are you tent camping or camper camping.
Either way I would suggest a playpen to sleep/play in around the campsite.

A carrier if you want to go hiking. I have seen people with strollers on trails and I laugh at them (hard).

A few of his/her favorite toys.

Lots of extra clothes and diapering tools. The minute you run out of clean clothes is when you will get a blow-out.

A small first-aid kit with Tylenol/Motrin plus the usual things you need.

Patience, camping with children any age can be a challenge but it can also be a lot of fun. Good luck!
