Camping/Waiting for Wii......

me and my friend are both going to get one. tonite we are gonna scope out the store to see if anyoen is waiting, if not go to sleep and return about an hour or 2 before opening.

theres a bunch of stores in the area and the target is getting 120, so it shouldnt be a problem.
 
seriously, these console launches have gotten fucking gay. I was able to order a PS2 about a month or 2 before it came out from ebgames.com or whatever and have it delivered to my house the day it came out (actually from what I remember it was actually a day EARLY). now if I want a new system I have to stand outside like a fucking russian on a bread line. fuck this shit
 
supposedly if you're store is getting say 30 tonight, it'll be 30 each day for 4 consecutive days

so I expect people will be lining up again tomorrow and so on
 
I'm still fairly sure that it was 1 million tonight at launch alone...not 1 million by christmas.

no way it could be significantly less if most stores are getting anywhere from 30-100
 
All of the stores in my area are getting max 30 one Target is getting 60 but that is like the "fluke" store. All have been accounted for also.

its basically a repackaged gamecube with a novel control scheme. its not like its a superpowerful new system that they are taking a loss on like 360 was last yr or PS3 is this year.

if there is a "shortage" they are doing it on purpose
 
My wal-mart, as I said in the other thread, has 3 people for the PS3 and it releases in 2 and a half hours, and they have 10 to sell, so I am going after the OSU michigan game at like 8, and waiting until midnight with a buddy of mine.
