I will be camping on the beach for my first time, I'm really excited and nervous. It will be on the peninsula in N.California....any wildlife that may be a threat?

I've heard some animals become aggressive if they smell female hormones?

Any pointers/ stories/ advice?

THANKS :)

Sand is everywhere and gets into everything, Tides rise and fall twice a day, Great whites frequent the Northern coast and will grab things in the shallows. Bears are along some portions near the redwoods but not for you to worry just keep food locked up and put away at night
have fun!

Be careful about where you sleep because if the tide washes in and you are not far enough away from shore, you and all of your things will get soaked!
