Greetings from Japan! I am currently studying abroad here in the Kansai area, but spring break is is the 14th-22nd of March for me and I am highly interested in camping in Okinawa. The problem is the different information I am receiving from the internet and Japanese people in general. I have read that there are camp sites all around the island, but I am really interested in the weather. Some people say it is swimmable this time of year, while others do not. This is a bit confusing since weather determines what I need to bring with me for camping gear. If it isn't swimmable I would like to wait until school is over (end of May) to go, but then I heard the rainy season begins. I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience about the weather and anything in particular they feel I should know. Thanks in advance!
