I'm planning a camping trip and I'm going to be alone for 3 or 4 days. Need ideas on how to keep myself occupied. Going to do the obvious self-reflection, lounge around the fire, and so on, but I need other stuff to do as well. Any recommendations?

BTW
I'm only bringing what I can carry, so no bikes, kayaks, etc

I don't think climbing anything, for fun, would be a good idea. It's too easy to fall, and since you're going to be alone, there will be nobody to help you.

Fishing would be good. Fun and food. Don't forget the fillet knife.

You should bring a lot of dry, nutritious and compacted foods. Jerky, trail mix, and plenty of water should do the trick.

I would bring several lighters, and several packs of matches. Be sure to bring waterproof matches too.

A small folding chair would be a good idea.

Books are probably the best thing that are small and can help you occupy yourself with at the same time.

wow! I wish I could go.

if there is a body of water near your site you could do some fishing and/or swimming... i also enjoy hiking and looking for certain wildlife that you don't see every day. Tree and rock climbing can be fun also. Maybe you could build something, a tree house/platform or a little hut or something... i created a huge rock pile once as a tribute to a friend who passed away and love rock climbing in the mountains i was camping in.

Get a nice digital camera, something with at least 10x optical zoom and take some pictures of scenery and wildlife. You would be amazed what you see when you have the mind of a photographer.

Explore, make a map of the area if its unfamiliar to you. Hide something there like a cashe', something memorable, or find the top of a hill and see whats up there! Name your camp if its remote. One time myself and a friend climbed up into a
place and named our camp, camp war wiesel because we were challenged by one of them varments when we tried to cross a log into the area we wanted to camp at...right in the middle of the log the dern thing came at us and stood on its hind legs and growled at us! We was stupified at his bravery and so bid him pass!

I take a small waterproof radio, so I can listen to tunes while I'm sitting. You can't go wrong with a deck of cards or a book. Whittling is always fun, and I taught myself how to play the harmonica. I know what you mean, because once your stuff is set out, and you've got food and a fire, there isn't much else to do. Best of luck to ya!
