Hi there. I'm going camping for the first time ever and I don't know much about whether or not there is refrigeration while camping so I am looking for recipes that can be cooked over coals/fire that don't need refrigerated items. That includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner recipes. If you have a family fave or know a site that has good recipes please post them. Thanks!

Depends on what kind of camping you're talking about. Will you need to hike to the campsite or will you be able to drive to the campsite. If you can drive there, you can bring a cooler with ice packs to keep meats and dairy products from spoiling. Canned foods is a good alternative. Don't forget the fresh fruits and maybe some veggies. You can cook corn, potatoes and yams in tin foil over a fire and they'll come out great.

at the camp where i worked they made banana boats for lunch sometimes.

all you need was foil, marshmallows, bananas, and peanut butter

you leave the peel on and cut the banana open and but the peanut butter and marshmallows in and wrap in foil and put over the flames until it nice and warm
