Camp Nowhere: It was the summer they were free to be whoever they wanted to be.

hehe, check out the sig. Yep, fan of the movie here. I bought the dvd, i think my tape was going to crap out soon. its a funny movie i watch time and time again. It's special to me y'know.

This movie never gets old along with all those other classics you totally just mentioned! I miss the 90's. :(

I cant remember too much about it sadly, thats how long its been since I have seen it.

I love the scene when Andrew Keegan's character makes the necklace with the girl he likes, little sister...so cute.

Exactly! I really miss those kinds of movies. Compare a few of today's kids movies to 90's kid movies:

Today: High School Musical 1, 2, 3, Hannah Montana, Madagascar 1, 2, Kung Fu Panda, Fire House Dog, Another Cinderella Story, Aquamarine, Nancy Drew, Alvin and the Chipmunks (the crappy computer version), etc.

90's: Camp Nowhere, Free Willy, The Mighty Ducks and sequels, Casper, Baby's Day Out, House Arrest, Blank Check, Home Alone, Space Jam, The Sandlot, Toy Story, Jungle 2 Jungle, The Secret Garden, The Indian in the Cupboard, Home Alone, Beethoven, An American Tail, etc.

Just looking at that list you can see a difference in quality! (The first one is complied from a few of the Netflix children and family genre, the second is some selections from my personal Netflix list of 90's kids movies)

I watched it twiced today (once at work), and yeah, just brought it all back to me.

Whoa I havent seen this movie in so long. You just actually reminded me of the other camp movie.. Camp cucamonga

camp nowhere was amazing..i love christopher loydd!!!! and andrew keagen. haha.

I remember at the time the whole 'If I don't see Dylan, I die.' comment had me at a loss, since I'd never seen an ep of 90210. But, now when I go back and watch it, it makes me smile.

I had a crush on him too. I had 3 main ones: Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Devon Sawa, and Andrew Keagan............though, I guess I'd include Jonathan Jackson. He and Andrew were too cute in this.

Hey guys! Welcome to the Camp Nowhere Appreciation Thread!

So, are there any fans of this movie? Personally, this was one of my many faves growing up!
