I have to answer this question:
Sone says she was imprisoned "because some people had little faith in the idas and ideals of democracy" What does she mean? Is she stating a fact or an opinion? Do you agree or disagree with her statement?

She is stating a fact an an opinion. That is an opinion of hers; however, it may be a fact for some people, but not all.
I don't really have a strong opinion on her statement, but I guess I sort of agree.
