Camera SD Photos show Like unknown characters instead of a Icon on Computer?!?

Please HELP! Ok Yesterday I took these really nice photos That i really liked!):
They were precious to me. Well anyways yesterday I connected my Camera
onto my computer, then I just posted like 2 on myspace. Then later when
I decided I wanted to post a few more, they showed up like a white sheet of paper
instead of an icon and they were renamed p≤3.cöÑ ? They disappeared,
and so i think that thats what happened to them. that they turned into
p≤3.cöÑ I think. If not then SOME disappeared because like 6 are gone into
p≤3.cöÑ and i think thats how much im missing? HELP please?!

Either your card is corrupt or your computer is.

For card, I suggest using a photo / file recovery software and save all the photos you can to a different storage media or hard disk. Don't click any photos till the time you have saved all your photos.

For computer, first scan it from viruses trojans etc. If it's clean then reboot it and try again. If once again the same problem is seen, try to associate your image viewing program again with these photo files.

(From the way your question is framed, I feel that your computer needs to be corrected first.)
 
You need to explain something. Why is it you are not copying all your images to your computer before you start posting images on the Internet?

What you are seeing are corrupted image files. You will have to use an image recovery program (there are some free ones out there, but if these are important images to you, spend the $35 and buy Lexar's Rescue3 program and try recovering your images.

Do NOT use the card until you have attempted image recovery

For under $15 you can buy a 2 gb SD card .. us it
