Camera Problem: My camera works fine indoors, but when i try taking pictures...

...outdoors i get white screen.? My camera works fine indoors, but when i try taking pictures outdoors they are either out of focus or very bright. I always get white screen in daylight.
I hope you can help me with this problem. Thank You!
