Camera phone as webcam

It may be capable, but does your carrier support it? Some of the upper end Nokia phones have features that few or no carriers (I am thinking of US carriers) support; such as video calling.

I dont think you can use camera phone as webcam,haven't heard yet

Yes you can. I did it my 5320 Xpress Music. There is a software you install on the phone, it worked fine, but drained my battery.

wouldn't it be cheaper/better if you just bought a cheapy webcam from bestbuy?

As it mentioned yes you can use your cell phone as a webcam fring has just upgraded there software so you can use your phone camera for a video call on skype and on live messanger also i use it all the time but mind it i have N97 try going to ovi store and search there i think i saw one software which you can use but not sure what was the name or how much was that good luck
